The Dorot S100 PS/AQ Series is a dual-function diaphragm-actuated valve that combines hydraulic pressure reducing control with a 24V AC normally open (N.O.) solenoid, powered by the Aquative AC module. Designed for integration into automated irrigation and water distribution systems, this valve ensures downstream pressure stability while providing fail-safe open behavior in the event of power loss—making it ideal for critical flow paths that must remain open unless deliberately shut.
During standard operation, the valve’s pressure-reducing pilot maintains a consistent downstream pressure setpoint. The Aquative AC solenoid enables remote On/Off control via standard irrigation timers and controllers, while the N.O. configuration ensures the valve remains open by default, closing only when energized.
This valve is especially suited for fail-open applications such as filter flush lines, tank fills, or priority mainlines where continued flow is essential during controller or power interruptions.
