Fimco Cyclomatic Hydro Indexing Valves

The FIMCO Cyclomatic Hydro Indexing Valve is a reliable, non-electric solution for automatically sequencing multiple irrigation zones using water pressure alone. Designed for residential, rural and commercial irrigation systems, this valve indexes to the next outlet every time the water supply is turned on and off — eliminating the need for electrical wiring at the valve location.

Constructed with a durable PVC body and fibre-filled bonnet, the Cyclomatic valve is built to handle demanding outdoor conditions while maintaining consistent performance. Each valve is pre-assembled with a sequencing cam matched to the number of outlets, ensuring correct zone rotation straight out of the box. For added flexibility, cams can be easily replaced through the top of the valve, allowing future system changes without replacing the entire unit.

When paired with a pump, master solenoid or irrigation controller, the FIMCO Cyclomatic valve provides a simple and economical way to automate multi-zone irrigation systems, particularly in locations where running control wiring is impractical or cost-prohibitive.

HOW IT WORKS

The Cyclomatic Hydro Indexing Valve operates by detecting the on/off cycling of the water supply. Each time the supply is turned on, one irrigation zone operates. When the supply is turned off, the internal cam advances, indexing the valve to the next outlet ready for the next cycle.

To fully automate the system, the valve can be controlled via a pump or master solenoid connected to an irrigation controller. The number of outlets determines the required controller cycles — for example, a 6-outlet valve requires a controller capable of six cycle starts.
