FIMCO Cyclomatic Valve Port Cams
Fimco Cyclomatic Valve Port Cams
FIMCO Cyclomatic Valve Port Cams are replaceable sequencing cams designed for use with FIMCO Cyclomatic Hydro Indexing Valves. These cams control how many irrigation zones the valve cycles through, allowing installers to easily configure, modify or expand an irrigation system without replacing the entire valve.
Each cam is precision-moulded to ensure accurate and reliable indexing between zones every time the water supply is cycled on and off. Installed through the top of the valve, port cams can be changed quickly on-site, making them ideal for system upgrades, repairs, or layout changes where the number of active irrigation zones has been altered.
By selecting the correct port cam, the Cyclomatic valve can be matched precisely to the required number of zones, providing dependable hydraulic sequencing with no electrical components required at the valve. This makes FIMCO port cams a simple, cost-effective solution for maintaining flexibility in residential, rural and commercial irrigation systems.

INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove the four screws that attach your cam cover or zone indicator to the valve top and lift it off.
- There is one slot in the cam that goes all the way through, line the lob on the stem up with that slot and remove the cam.
- Make certain that an o-ring is present on both sides of your new cam and that the numbers are facing up when you install the new cam.
- Slide the cam down over the stem the same way you removed your old cam and line the cam notch up with the locator pin on your valve top.
- Replace the cam cover and re-tighten your screws.
- Pipe up to the outlets that are directly below the numbers on the cam. (On the 7 zone cam the outlet marked 8 will be your inactive outlet). Cap off any un-used outlets.

Tips and Suggestions:
When installing the cam we suggest first turning the screw counter clockwise until you feel a ‘pop’ as the screws falls into the old thread. You can then turn the screw clockwise and tighten. This prevents the chance of stripping out screws as they form new thread in the plastic. It is always best to install with a hand held screwdriver.
