The WaterBoy 4HR400 is the entry-level model in WaterBoy’s 4” Helical Rotor solar pumping range—purpose-built for mid-range water supply solutions where you need dependable performance and moderate lift. Designed for applications with up to 40 metres of total head, this system delivers between 6,480 and 16,920 litres of water per day, depending on site conditions and sunlight hours.

Supplied as a complete plug-and-play kit, the 4HR400 includes a powerful 1.0kW DC motor paired with a 4” stainless steel helical rotor pump, four 140W solar panels (560W total), a cyclone-rated array frame, 40 metres of power and safety cable, and either a bore cap or dam float for flexible installation. Whether you’re tank filling, watering livestock, or transferring water on your rural property, the 4HR400 gives you reliable, maintenance-free performance powered by the sun.
