The brass in line Y strainer creates an in line serviceable aperture to catch particulate matter. It is an inexpensive way to ensure solids are removed before they can have detrimental effects on diaphragm valves, pumps or irrigation hardware. They are suitable for hot or cold water, and requires regular maintenance. They have a compact and robust brass design and are useful, where a height differential exists between the pump and the source. They can be installed in any orientation but direction of flow is specific. Spare filter cages are available.
