The Grundfos CU 202 is an advanced control and monitoring unit purpose-built for SQFlex submersible pumps in off-grid and hybrid solar pumping systems. Designed to deliver true plug-and-pump convenience, the CU 202 comes pre-configured for tank filling — the most common solar water pumping application — while also offering flexible setup for other control modes via the Grundfos GO app.

Featuring a simple user interface and built-in Bluetooth connectivity, the CU 202 makes installation and commissioning straightforward for installers and system owners alike. The unit communicates with the SQFlex pump directly through the existing power cable using powerline communication, eliminating the need for additional wiring between pump and controller.

With Grundfos GO, users can fine-tune performance, monitor key data in real-time, and access detailed logs for user settings, alarms, and historical performance — helping to maximise uptime and make troubleshooting fast and easy. For remote sites, the CU 202 can also be integrated into SCADA or remote monitoring systems via Wi-Fi, GENIbus, or Modbus.

Designed for robust outdoor operation, the CU 202 is housed in a durable plastic enclosure with IP55 protection, features a clear status display with configurable LEDs, and offers two configurable I/O connections plus optional backup battery support to maintain critical data during low solar conditions.
