The Grundfos NB40-250 Series is a heavy-duty, close-coupled end-suction centrifugal pump range built for demanding applications that require high flow rates combined with high heads and reliable, efficient operation. Designed for pumping clean or slightly contaminated non-abrasive liquids, these non-self-priming, single-stage pumps feature an axial suction port and radial discharge port in a compact horizontal design that ensures smooth, efficient liquid handling with minimal flow losses.

The NB40-250 is equipped with a hydraulically and dynamically balanced impeller to deliver stable, vibration-free performance at high system pressures. The rugged cast iron pump housing and corrosion-resistant internal wear parts ensure excellent durability and a long working life, even under tough industrial conditions.

Each pump in the NB40-250 Series is directly coupled to a robust IEC-flanged three-phase AC motor running at 2900 RPM, providing flow rates up to 1100 LPM and heads up to 95 metres (950 kPa). An O-ring seal between the pump housing and cover provides secure, leak-free operation under constant duty.
