Selecting the appropriate model requires matching the separator to the system’s flow conditions, rather than choosing by pipe size alone.

Hydrocyclone separation operates without a mesh screen, directing separated material into a collection chamber for removal. This makes the FF7 Series useful where sand would otherwise increase the cleaning demands on downstream filtration. Where finer filtration is required, select additional filtration to suit the downstream equipment.

Maintenance centres on emptying the collection chamber, with provision to automate this process. The compact design suits installations where space and maintenance access matter. Plan sufficient clearance for servicing and arrange chamber emptying to suit the amount of sand entering the system.
