The Irritrol (Richdel) 217B Series 50mm Commercial Solenoid Valve is engineered for large-scale irrigation systems that demand durability, reliability, and long service life. Built from heavy-duty, UV-resistant PVC with stainless-steel hardware, the 217B is designed to withstand high pressures, dirty water, and the continuous heavy cycling typical of sports fields, council parks, golf courses, and commercial landscapes.

The valve includes Irritrol’s trusted double-beaded Santoprene diaphragm, providing a strong, leak-proof seal even under high flow rates. Its slow-closing design minimises water hammer, protecting pipework and system components from damaging pressure spikes. For easy installation and servicing, the 217B features three-way stainless-steel bonnet screws that accept Phillips, flat-blade, or hex tools—allowing full access without removing the valve from the line. Internal and external bleed functions enable fast flushing and manual operation during commissioning or maintenance.

With integrated flow control, a reinforced bottom inlet, and compatibility with the OMNIReg® modular pressure regulator and optional 9–12V DC latching coil, the 217B offers excellent flexibility across a wide range of commercial irrigation designs.
