The Land & Water PC10 Auto Tank Fill Reverse Acting Pressure Switch is a reliable mechanical pressure switch designed to automatically stop solar and DC pump systems once a storage tank reaches full capacity. Installed on the delivery line and used in conjunction with a float valve, the PC10 provides a simple, dependable solution for automatic tank filling without the need for electrical float switches.
Unlike standard pressure switches, the PC10 is a reverse acting, normally open switch. During normal operation the switch remains open, allowing the pump to run. When the float valve closes as the tank becomes full, pressure builds within the pipeline. Once the pressure reaches the preset operating range of 20–40 PSI, the switch closes and sends a stop signal to the solar pump controller, safely shutting down the pump until demand resumes.
Built with a durable mechanical design and a 1/4" male connection, the PC10 is ideal for solar pumping systems, livestock watering, rainwater storage, rural water transfer, and remote tank filling applications where a simple, maintenance-friendly control solution is required.
