Efficient Centrifugal Sand Separation for Irrigation & Water Systems

The Netafim Arkal 50mm (2") Plastic Hydrocyclone Sand Separator is designed to effectively remove sand, grit, and gravel from water before it reaches your irrigation or industrial system. Using centrifugal force, this separator helps prevent abrasive wear on nozzles, valves, drippers, and filters—significantly extending the lifespan and performance of your equipment.

Ideal for well water and other high-sediment sources, the unit can be used as a standalone system or installed in parallel batteries to handle higher flow rates. To ensure full system protection, it is highly recommended to install a disc filter downstream to catch any remaining organic material.

How It Works:
Water enters the separator tangentially, generating a high-speed circular flow. This centrifugal motion pushes heavier particles (sand and gravel) toward the outer wall of the chamber, where they settle at the bottom. Accumulated sediment is then discharged via a ¾" drain valve, which can be operated manually or hydraulically.
