The Netafim SandStorm 5 Tank Manifold Fully Automatic Gravel Media Filter System with Media – DC Controlled is a high-capacity metal media filtration solution designed for very large irrigation systems requiring reliable primary filtration from poor-quality surface water. Constructed from heavy-duty carbon steel ST-37.2, the SandStorm system delivers robust depth filtration, long service life, and consistent performance in demanding agricultural environments.

The five-tank manifold (quint system) configuration provides a large filtration area and high flow capacity, ensuring uninterrupted irrigation while individual tanks perform automatic back-flush cycles. A special two-layer UV and corrosion-resistant coating protects the system in harsh outdoor conditions. The modular manifold design allows future system expansion, while large access ports make gravel media replacement and routine maintenance straightforward. Supplied complete with gravel media, the system is ready for installation and long-term operation.

Media filters are highly recommended when irrigating with poor quality water or in the following conditions:

• As the primary filtration for surface water in single/multi-season driplines
• When water contains Iron and/or Manganese
• For SDI applications wish harsh water sources

SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS

• Flow rates are for average water quality when using crushed basalt #1 or crushed granite #11
• For poor water quality use lower flow rates.

  • Hydraulic tube, Backflush Valves, Poly Propylene (PP) Manifold, Controller and Solenoids, Air Valve, Pressure gauge mounted on 3-way Sagiv Valve are all pre-assembled
