The Philmac X380 Dual Action Kinetic Air Release Valve is designed to provide safe, reliable and efficient air management across a wide range of irrigation and water transfer systems. Engineered for both high-volume air intake and rapid air expulsion, it protects pipelines from vacuum conditions, water hammer, air blockages and pressure fluctuations. By maintaining smooth hydraulic flow, the X380 helps extend the life of pumps, filters and fittings while ensuring optimal system performance.

Built with Australian conditions in mind, the X380 features a robust UV- and impact-resistant thermoplastic body and base, delivering long-term durability even in harsh outdoor environments. The lightweight yet tough internal float is manufactured from long-life expanded polystyrene, ensuring responsive performance during system start-up, operation and shutdown. High-quality EPDM locking joints provide a positive, dependable seal, minimising leakage while ensuring easy servicing and longevity.

With a 25mm (1”) female BSP connection and a wide operating pressure range from 20 kPa to 1600 kPa, the X380 is suitable for pipelines up to 225 mm and is commonly installed at high points, pump outlets and along rising mains where effective air release is essential.
