The Grundfos DDA (XL)-FCM Smart Digital Diaphragm Dosing Pump is a high-precision, flow-verified dosing solution designed for advanced water treatment and industrial process applications where real-time flow monitoring, system feedback, and automated correction are required. This listing includes multiple DDA-FCM variants, allowing customers to select the appropriate capacity while benefiting from the same intelligent control platform.
At the core of the FCM model is Grundfos FlowControl Measurement technology, which continuously measures the actual dosed flow directly inside the dosing head. This enables immediate detection of faults such as air bubbles, empty tanks, overpressure, or line breaks, with alarms displayed in plain text. The integrated Auto Flow Adapt function automatically adjusts pump speed to maintain the target dosing rate even when process conditions change.
Driven by a brushless PMS motor and SMART Digital Dosing technology, the DDA-FCM operates at full stroke length across its entire control range. This ensures exceptional dosing accuracy, smooth discharge flow, and reliable priming—even with viscous or degassing chemicals.
The FCM control platform supports analogue 0/4–20 mA control, pulse input, batch dosing, timer functions, and fieldbus communication (via GENIbus and CIU modules), making it ideal for PLC-, SCADA-, and fully automated treatment systems. A front-mounted graphical display with click-wheel navigation provides intuitive setup, diagnostics, and operational transparency.
All variants supplied feature a PVDF dosing head, PTFE gaskets, and ceramic ball valves, offering excellent chemical resistance for aggressive treatment chemicals used in water, wastewater, and industrial applications. With an IP65 / Type 4X enclosure and industrial-grade build quality, the DDA-FCM delivers reliable, measurable, and verifiable dosing performance.
