Designed for Australia's demanding outdoor conditions, the TankMate R3 features a durable polycarbonate enclosure with an IP68 weatherproof rating, protecting the electronic components from moisture and environmental exposure. Powered by three replaceable AA lithium batteries, the sensor operates without external electrical connections and offers up to three years of typical battery life. Its compact design and straightforward installation make it suitable for a wide variety of water tanks, including rainwater storage tanks, agricultural tanks and irrigation systems.

Using a standard 2.4GHz WiFi connection, the TankMate R3 automatically transmits scheduled water level readings to the TankMate cloud platform, allowing users to access tank information from their smartphone or compatible web browser. The free TankMate app provides essential water level monitoring, while optional Premium features offer low and high water level notifications, abnormal usage alerts and detailed water consumption statistics.
